TZVETY MAXIMOVA

Born 1966, Bulgaria.

Graduated from Applied Arts College in Sofia (1985).

Graduated at Veliko Tarnovo University St. Cyril and St. Methodius, in the Painting class of Prof. Alexander Terziev, Master’s Degree (1991).

Activities: Iconography course in Bistritsa, Roumania, organised by Balkan Orhtodox Young Association (1999). Member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, Painting Section (2004). Member of Duppini Art Group (2000). First price for Iconography at the International competition 2000 years under the Bethlehem Star – Odessa, Ukraine (1999). Since 2004 – lector of Iconography in Kruispunt, Denderleeuw, Belgium. Since 2004 – teacher of Icon Painting in National Arts School of Applied Arts in Tryavna, Bulgaria.

Since 1992 she has participated in over 48 general exhibitions in Bulgaria, Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Belgium, Croatia, Italy, France. Author of 6 solo exhibitions.

Works in the field of painting, mural and icon painting.
